Kate is an Australian artist creating artworks inspired by her local surroundings in Northern New South Wales and from her adventures traveling the world. For Kate, painting is a therapeutic and contemplative practice providing both peace and solitude. In her studio, she harnesses the power of art as a positive channel, turning the creative process into an uplifting experience. Her creations not only radiate joy to the observer but contributes to her own personal well-being, her art has the remarkable ability to evoke a profound sense of calm, serenity and tranquillity.  When she is not painting, Kate loves going to the beach with her schnauzer dogs.

Kate has an enduring passion for painting and creating artworks throughout her whole life. She has been teaching art to students for over 25 years, mentoring up and coming emerging artists, especially providing opportunities to disadvantaged students. Kate has mentored students offering guidance and support as they embark on their artistic journeys. She has facilitated invaluable mentoring sessions for her students with some of Australia's top artists including - Ken Done and Bronwyn Bancroft.
